On behalf of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA), we can certify and approve products against UK CAA standards.
In addition to the Helideck design review service, we offer a Statement of Compliance Award for helideck lighting systems that meet the requirements of CAP437 Standards for offshore helicopter landing areas. This process entails a detailed review of the lighting product specifications and test/verification documentation plus an on-site visit to inspect the lighting installation in a representative environment.

It is the responsibility of the installation/vessel operator to ensure that the lighting equipment is installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and CAP 437 as appropriate.
